Speed Friendshipping is a monthly event which aims to connect LGBTQ+ people with one another, with the goals of fostering friendships, combatting lonliness and isolation, and building a greater sense of community for queer people.
It starts by mimicking speed dating with an arrangement that aims to ensure everybody has the opportunity to speak to everyone else, and ask those first few questions. Then it moves onto more group-based ice breakers and games to encourage interaction.
We have been thrilled to see the start of friendships forming, and have familiar faces return for each event. Whilst it is an opportunity to meet new people, it is wonderful to see it develop in an event on people's social calendar.
There's nothing less sexy than the cloakroom queue at a sex party.
Perverts is a short play about a terrible night out.

Owain Train McGilvary’s exhibition is informed by his close connection with a wrestling group for women and non-binary people, in the southside of Glasgow. Owain spent the last two years working closely with the group and has created an intimate video portrait that distils many of their conversations to explore key themes including the role of ‘villain’, gender, kinship and working class lives.
